Illusionist Jonathan Erlandson Coming To MAD
EL DORADO—Are you ready for some magic? Murphy Arts District is excited to announce a performance by Jonathan Erlandson on the Griffin Restaurant cabaret stage in the Murphy Arts District on Friday, Aug. 16. Erlandson is a world class magician and mentalist who has performed for audiences from all over the world. He became interested in magic at the age of 6 while living in California and watching a popular magic TV show. Erlandson now calls Little Rock home, and for the past eight years has made residence at the Maxwell Blade Theatre of Magic, where he is the featured performer of the Close Up Show. He is a founding member of the vaudeville-style variety troop The Marvelous Misfits, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Erlandson is considered one of the newest magicians to combine Close Up Magic and Mentalism together creating one of the most unique acts in the world of magic today. Many refer to his performance as Psychological Illusions, but you will have to be the judge and see for yourself. No matter the venue, theaters, universities, and events worldwide. Erlandson’s show continues winning audiences’ night after night.
Tickets go on sale for MAD members at 10 a.m. on Monday and to the public next Wednesday. Prices range from $15 to $25 each. ($25 for a reserved seat and $15 for general admission seats. The tickets increase by $5 on the day of show.)
