Market in the Park reopens

The much anticipated Market in the Park opening date is now set for Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m to 11 a.m. With delays due to Covid-19 and the weather, our produce vendors are anxious to get started.
Arkansas Department of Health guidelines allow for only produce and food items at this time with plans to include craft vendors later this spring as allowed.
Pandemic guidelines issued by the ADH will temporarily give Market in the Park a different look this year. The street closest to the park will be blocked off to control vehicle and foot traffic flows. Use the entrance to the north of the courthouse and park in the area in front of the jail.
Designated parking areas for order pick up and disabled patrons will be marked. Please follow the pathways established to maintain social distancing.
The produce available at the Market on Saturday will be posted on Facebook Friday, May 15, by 5 p.m.. Most produce will be pre-packaged and priced. There will be a call-in/pick-up area with curbside delivery to your vehicle. We ask that you plan to bring correct change - no large bills - so that vendors do not have to handle money unnecessarily.
Market in the Park Farmer's Market and More requires that produce sold be raised by the vendor - not purchased for resale.
Craft items must be handcrafted locally.
Homemade items must follow Cottage Home Guidelines from ADH that includes a label listing ingredients and the producer's name and address.
Applications for booth space at Market in the Park are available at Monticello/Drew County Chamber of Commerce or by calling Glenda Nichols at the Chamber 367-6741.
Applications must be completed at least seven days before setting up a booth. There is no charge for vendor spaces. Last year's vendors may update contact information by calling the Chamber - no need to complete a new application.
