Franklin (Keith) Montgomery
Franklin (Keith) Montgomery, 60 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 in Monticello. He was born Feb. 17, 1959 in Fayetteville, N.C. to Pebble Ward Montgomery and the late Robert (Bobby Joe) Montgomery.
He retired from pipeline work and was the owner/operator of Monticello Exxon. He was a member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kim Montgomery; and two nephews, Dustin Montgomery and Tray Hale.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Tilley Montgomery of Monticello; one son, Byron (Hillary) Keith Montgomery of Monticello; one daughter, Kelley Jo (Jim) Rasco Eckhart of North Little Rock; his mother, Pebble Ward Montgomery of Monticello; one brother, Robert Montgomery of Brazoria, Texas; two sisters, Diane (Mark) Higgs of Carlisle and Jennifer (Daren) Clements Sachse, Texas; four grandchildren, Amelia, Owen, Nash and James; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pauline Missionary Baptist Church with burial following in Union Cemetery at Rye. Visitation was from 4to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home.
Officiating: Rev. Joe Chambers and Rev. James Taylor. Active Pallbearers: Jacob Bone, Jesse Bone, Jude Clements, Randy Bordeaux, Steven Harvey, Joe Miles, Michael Pomeroy, Jordan Tilley.
