Loretta Boyd Harmon
Loretta Boyd Harmon, 80, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. She was born October 8, 1936 in the Cornersville community in Lincoln County to the late Floyd Boyd and Ruby McBride Anderson.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Free Will Baptist church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Kay Williams.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Paul Harmon of Monticello; one daughter, Shelia (Bruce) Harris of Monticello; her son-in-law, Michael Williams of Hendersonville, N.C.; one grandson, Micah Paul (Micci) Williams of Hendersonville, N.C.; three granddaughters, Amanda Harris of Warren, April (Aaron) Gray of Warren, Tosha Beth (Charlie) Huggins of Hendersonville, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eloise Harris of Monticello, Hazel (Kenneth) Saffold of Monticello and Leona (Eddie) Eubanks of the Valley community; one brother, Eugene Boyd of Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at First Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 10-11 a.m. Thursday prior to funeral service at the church. Online guestbook: www.stephensondearman.com.
