Louvenia Hamm Cater
Louvenia Hamm Cater, 84, of Monticello died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Drew Memorial Health System. She was born February 21, 1935 in Roosevelt (White County) to the late Tom Hamm and Mary Edwards Hamm.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Travis Fore; her second husband, Johnnie Elizah Fore; two daughters, Cheryl Fore and Mary Ellen Fore; one grandson, Jamie Fore; and 11 siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Cater Jr. of Monticello; one son, John (Rhonda) Fore of Fulton, Mo.; three daughters, Nancy (Steve) Chapman of Monticello, Penny Heyman of Lebanon, Mo. and Betty (Don) Evans of Pine Bluff; one brother, Billy Hamm of Arnold, Mo.; her twin sister, Truevenia Riley of Everett, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
