Orlean Hoover Horn
Orlean Hoover Horn, 96, of Monticello passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at The Woods of Monticello Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 17, 1923 in Star City to the late Earl N. Hoover and Maudie Barrett Hoover.
She was the widow of Charles Garvin Horn, a housewife and was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and Campground United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Drew Central High School in 1940 and enjoyed working in the yard and painting. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Hoover Nance.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Teresa) Horn of Monticello; one sister, Lavonne H. Curtis of Monticello; two granddaughters, Ashley (Michael) Booker of Star City and Bethannee Horn of Monticello; and two great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Adalynne Booker.
Graveside service was held Monday, May 20, 2019 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander. Arrangements were by Stephenson-Dearman.
