Patrick Allen "Pat" Bryant
Patrick Allen "Pat" Bryant, 61, a long-time resident of Monticello, died Nov. 24, 2019, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff after a short but valiant battle against lung cancer. Pat was born Jan. 8, 1958 in Warren to the late James "Finch" Bryant and Virginia Dare Sacksteder Bryant.
Pat was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving primarily in Germany.
Pat loved motorcycles, both building and riding them. He as also an avid outdoorsman happiest when hunting, fishing or working in his garden.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brother James "Jimmy" Bryant.
Pat is survived by brothers, Michael (Sinea) Bryant, of Gavelston, Texas; and Paul (Tracy) Bryant, of Pflugerville, Texas; and sisters, Deborah Roberts, of Davis, Calif.; and Cynthia Bryant of Suisun, Calif.; and his long-time girlfriend Inga L Rekow.
While he had no children of his own Pat was a much-loved uncle to seven nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews.
At his request, no funeral service will be held and interment will be private.
Pat's family will host a casual reception in celebration of his life at his home, 2103 Highway 35 East, on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. Friends are welcome.
